My primary purpose in creating this blog is to assist others in gaining access to truth. There is a process that each of us undergoes to accomplish this, and while all external information is valuable, it must be tempered with a great deal of discernment.
Just a little background on myself. The spontaneous OBE’s I’ve had are most interesting, and they often seem completely random and unconnected with any events in my life at the time. The first time it occurred was years ago when I was a close-minded skeptic. Although one’s higher self can cause this to happen anytime, in the 80’s I read an article in Omni magazine about being aware and in control of dreams. I thought that would be really fun, so I followed the instructions for doing so, which involved affirmations at night prior to sleeping. It worked, a remarkable experience! I was creating worlds made out of large colored balls, and jumping off of them. Several months later, I was in a place where there were no walls, floors, etc., just a mist everywhere–and huge amounts of information, what I perceived at the time as every possible word, thought, image, feeling and concept in all of time were accessible and flowing through me all at once (no “before” or “after”)–my first experience in a place of no time.. The experience was so awesome I awoke in tears. I still retained the close-minded nature for many years after that however. I had the same experience years later, only this time I awoke laughing–realizing that this experience had been occurring for many years, and what seemed so complex from my incarnational perspective was–and this was a term I had to coin in my poor attempt to describe the experience–”profoundly simple”. Intentional OBE’s can take a bit of practice–it’s different for everyone. These are NOT necessary for spiritual advancement, something I cannot stress enough.
Different levels of vibration would seem to be the separation factor here, not literal walls. We cannot access beyond a level in the astral (4th density for lack of a better description) because of our vibrational “frequency”, and this is a barrier of sorts.
My experience and that of others is that we have a limit. There are in fact barriers here of all types (perception, wisdom, discernment) are some examples. Linear progression is another (I’m not the same person I was ten years ago, I have evolved tremendously). We are prevented from knowing our future beyond what is allowed, and for very good reasons.
This is a limit, or barrier as well. Curiosity itself is not a valid reason, we do not have tourists visiting the first source, etc. Until I understood this, I was very impatient to “know” everything. Now, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It is a process.
I will be posting observations and insights of my own from time to time, and I welcome others to do so. The days of a free internet are under serious attack, and although some of us have other methods of communication, many don’t. I understand that this is a time when it is most important for as many of us to open our minds and claim our power as possible. Why is the least important question, but paradoxically seems to be the opposite. Many don’t know who they are or why they are here. How is the next question, and that must be explored in greater detail. I will be more than happy to answer any questions asked of me, but not lengthy debates of the reductionist kind, nor of philosophical difference. We are all teachers and students on this journey, learning from each other and from ourselves. The truth is not “out there”, it is “in there”. The process of reaching it will be more difficult for some than others, but it can be done. It was not easy for me. When the “external” reality conflicts with your “internal” ideology, something has to give–and therein the search begins….
